BEGINNERS: Shopify Store Tutorial Using Debutify in 2023

Sign up for a Shopify Account: If you don’t have a Shopify account yet, head to their homepage and click on the green “Sign Up” button. You’ll then be required to enter your email, full name, and a password of your choice.

Choose Your Plan: After you log in, you’ll need to choose which Shopify plan you would like. Shopify offers three plans including the basic plan, the Shopify plan and the Advanced plan. The plan you choose will depend on the size and complexity of your store.

Install the Debutify Theme: Once you have selected a Shopify plan, the next step is to install the Debutify theme. You can find the Debutify theme by clicking on Online Store in the main Shopify menu, then Themes and selecting the Debutify theme.

Configure the Theme Settings: Once the Debutify theme has been installed, the next step is to configure the theme settings. To do this, from the Shopify admin go to Preferences, and then Theme Settings. Here you can customize the theme to suit your store. Look through each setting carefully to ensure the theme looks and works the way you want it to. You can also add custom HTML, CSS, and Javascript code to customize the theme further.

Add Products to Your Store: Now that the theme has been configured, it’s time to add products to your store. Head over to the Products section of the Shopify admin and creating new products. Once created, they will appear on your homepage.

Customize Your Homepage: Once you have added your products, it’s time to customize the homepage. To do this, go back to Preferences and then Homepage Settings. Here you can change the layout of the homepage, add different sections, and customize the look and feel of the homepage.

Add Payment and Shipping Methods: Before you can take orders you’ll need to add your payment and shipping methods. Head over to the Shopify admin and click on Settings, then Payment. Here you can select various payment providers such as Paypal or Stripe. You can also add shipping methods and set up shipping zones.

Test Your Store: Now that you have set up your store, it’s time to test it out. Head to the homepage of your store and click on various products and other pages of your store. This will help to ensure that everything is working correctly and that the customer experience is smooth.

Launch Your Store: Once your store is all set up and tested, it’s time to hit the “Launched” button. This will make your store live and allow customers to start buying your products. Congratulations!
