It’s been interesting. I grew up on a rural farm in Kentucky, and from the time I was really really young I was always around three-wheeled relics. We had old military surplus vehicles, and when we had time to tinker with them, we’d take them out for a spin around the farm.

My dad and brothers were into old beat-up vehicles as well and so was I, although I was younger so my dad wasn’t exactly complacent about letting me get behind the wheel. I did a lot of watching from the sidelines though and I learned that three-wheeling is probably the most exhilarating activity a person can get involved in. I eventually convinced my dad to let me give it a try and the rest is history!

I love to embrace my self-proclaimed ‘redneck’ culture. I wear t-shirts draped with the American flag and I don’t take kindly to anyone that tries to tarnish the flag. I have a lot of pride in the southern way of life, although I don’t think that’s particularly uncommon here in Kentucky.

I do try to be conscious of others and the judgmental citizens that make up the rest of the country though. I’m very considerate and understanding of others and I try to remain true to my own beliefs while understanding that everyone else is allowed to have their own opinions. I truly believe there should be mutual respect regardless of race, ethnicity or gender.

I don’t take myself too seriously but I do take my craft seriously. I’m constantly looking for ways to enhance my three-wheeling experience and that includes everything from vehicle modifications to modifications clothing wardrobe. I like to keep things fun and adventurous while giving Three Wheelers the proper respect they deserve.
