Creating Automatic Discounts in Shopify

From your Shopify admin, go to Discounts.
On the Discounts page, click Create discount.
On the Create discount page, enter a Name for the discount code. This name will appear in customer emails, invoices and order confirmation pages to help customers identify what the discount is for.
In the Discount type section, select Automatic.
In the Discount details section, enter the discount Amount or percentage that the discount will be applied.
In the Discount eligibility section, set the conditions for when customers will be eligible for the discount. Depending on what type of discount you are creating, you can customize the conditions to meet the needs of your business.
In the Applied to section, set the products and collections that your discount will be applied to. You can either manually enter product and collection names or click Select all to apply your discount to all products and collections.
In the Valid till section, select a duration for your discount.
In the Activation option section, select whether or not customers will be required to enter a discount code to ensure they can get the discount.
Click Create discount.
