I am so proud to say that I have completed my 30 day Shopify store-building challenge, and it feels amazing! I have gone through so many ups, downs and twists and turns throughout this arduous journey, and I am incredibly pleased with the results.

The shop I have created is a simple Shopify store selling unique handmade dolls and accessories. The store is called ‘A Doll’s Magic’ and is a one-stop shop for girls of all ages to get the perfect gift. The store offers a wide variety of dolls and accessories, from baby dolls to vintage dolls, as well as matching outfits and accessories, making it perfect for any occasion.

I started out by first coming up with a concept for the store. I conducted some customer research to help me understand what kind of items the customers would be looking for. Once I had a good understanding of the customer needs, I created the name for the store, ‘A Doll’s Magic’. Next, I had to select the products for the store. I chose to keep it local and had a local doll maker craft each doll for me. I also sourced additional accessories from around the world.

The next step was to create the Shopify store and setting it up in the backend. This included connecting the store’s payment gateway and adding the necessary tax information. Next I setup the navigation structure and the look and feel of the store. After that I added the images of the products and wrote product descriptions, Meta tags and keyword optimization. Finally I created the store logo, making it the perfect brand identity.

With all the pieces of the puzzle in place, I then promoted the store via social media, Google Ads and email marketing campaigns. After a few weeks of hard work, the store was finally live, and I have been receiving some great sales.

I am so proud of my accomplishment in completing this challenge and launching my Shopify store. It was a lot of work, but I feel great about the outcome and am excited to see the business grow in the future.
