Shopify 60 day trial
-
Create the Terms of Service page: Login to your Shopify dashboard, navigate to the Pages section, and click the Add page button. On the page editor, name your page as “Terms of Service” and enter the content of your Terms of Service.
-
Add a link to your Terms of Service page: Upon saving the Terms of Service page, Shopify will automatically generate its permanent address which is unique to your store. Using the available drag-and-drop feature within Shopify, you can now add a link to your Terms of Service page in the footer of your shop.
-
Link to your Terms of Service page in checkout: To make sure customers are aware of your Terms of Service and require them to agree to them before placing an order, you can login to your Shopify store backend, navigate to Settings > Checkout, scroll down to the Refund, cancellation and terms section and check the box “I have read and agree to the Terms of Service”. This will add a checkbox in the checkout process that customers need to check in order to proceed.
-
Finalize the setup: Finally, make sure to test the link to your Terms of Service page and the checkout section to make sure everything is working properly. Don’t forget to update the Terms of Service page at least once a year or whenever your business policies change.
